Our Process

Blueprint’s model for school improvement is adapted to meet the unique needs of each school and district.

Generally, our process for partnering with a district is divided into three categories:

Phase Activities

Plan

  • Hire locally based leadership staff to manage and oversee the improvement process.
  • Work with our school and district partners to plan how best to integrate Blueprint’s five-point framework with current systems and processes.
  • Develop tools, share resources, and create systems in partnership with school and district leaders to support successful program implementation at each school site.

Implement

  • Begin customized implementation plan for the five-point framework in all schools.
  • Assist with the recruitment and selection of tutors, teachers and school leadership.

Monitor, Evaluate, & Reflect

  • Monitor school progress through locally based Blueprint and district staff.
  • Conduct formal, full day site visits every four to six weeks.
  • Collect and analyze school data to provide feedback to district and school leaders and track school progress towards educational goals.
  • Help schools reflect on and prioritize strengths and areas for growth across all areas of the five-point framework.
  • Provide targeted assistance and resources to school and district leaders based on site visit results and data collection to ensure research-based strategies for school improvement are implemented effectively at each school site.
